Help in a crisis

Student midwives discuss Ready to Relate

Well-trained students are essential, they are the health workforce of tomorrow.

As a health professional, they will have extraordinary influence and have the ability to change how families understand their babies, enhance relationships between parents and infants, improve infant mental health and thus the well-being of society.

The Ready to Relate training provides a strong foundational knowledge base to inform clinical practice. The Ready to Relate resources (cards and website) are evidence-based, effective and accessible resources to support practitioners in their conversations and interventions with families.

Training students gives the NHS a head-start and our families the head-start they deserve too.

Hear from student midwives from the University of Bradford who have attended a Ready to Relate introductory training session as part of their course.
