We know how tough and demanding those it can be with your newborn, but we hope you are able to enjoy precious moments with your little ones too. We understand how special these times are, and that’s why Ready2Relate is excited to help you celebrate and document them!
What is Ready2Relate?
An NHS website that is all about embracing the joys of parenthood and helping parents understand their babies! Our initiative encourages families to connect with their babies and create lasting memories together.
Be the focus of a special photoshoot!
This November, we’ve asked professional photographer, Mark Dolby to capture a series of natural and engaging pictures of parents and family carers with their young babies in our region. We want your stories of how you bond with your baby…catching each other’s eye and smiling at feeding time, playfully mirroring what each other does, rubbing cheeks whilst cuddling…those everyday but valuable moments with your baby.
What’s the deal?
We’d have a quick chat with you first, perhaps over the phone, to answer any questions you have and plan out a convenient time and place for the photoshoot. For the photo session we would need an hour or two. We want you and your baby to feel completely comfortable. After the session we’d send you a selection of the pictures we’d like to use on our NHS Ready to Relate website that help showcase to other parents ways of being with babies that supports bonding. You will always have the ultimate say over which ones we use and you can change your mind at any time.
We think you’ll love the experience and our team will do everything we can to make it as enjoyable as possible. We’ll provide you with some selected prints of your favourite photos and all the digital ones so that you can share them with family and friends. We’d also like to give you a £50 Amazon voucher as a small thank you for your time.
